ESPA is owned and was founded by Latesha (Anderson) Short. While in high school, she became an all state athlete in three sports which included 2 state championships and five MVP awards. She became an international track and field athlete at the age of 17, competing in London, Paris, and other European countries. Being highly recruited, she chose to attend University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff with a full track and field scholarship where she became an all conference athlete for three years. After receiving a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies, she taught for seven years until becoming a 2012 Olympic Hopeful and an elite athlete training under Olympian and goal medalist, Jon Drummond. She is a World Master Champion (Perth, Australia 2016 ) and World Silver medalist (Malaga , Spain 2018) in track and field. Latesha coached both Jr. High and High School Track and Field at Grace Preparatory Academy in Arlington, Texas for three years until relocating to Arkansas. Latesha currently specializes in developing skills in all ages of Track & field & basketball in Texarkana, Ar. Latesha is also a certified personal trainer and received her personal training certification through The American Fitness Institute. She was also nominated and selected to be amongst the first class (2023) inducted as a Hall of Fame athlete at Nashville High School.

Taylor Short is a Dallas native. He attended Greenhill School during high school, where he collected several All-Conference medals for track and field as well as Volleyball. He was a junior Olympic Decathlete. He attended Arkansas State University on an athletic scholarship. While at the university he accumulated multiple All-Conference medals for the decathlon and indoor heptathlon. Taylor is an exercise science major and has been on the A.D. Honor Roll for his entire college career. He has since received his personal training certification through The American Fitness Institute.

Jonathan Todd is a graduate of the University of Texas- Arlington. He is an honors graduate. He has been a learning coach with ESPA for over two years. While with ESPA, he has helped many students excel their academic level. He has coached students through challenging courses such as chemistry, calculus 1,2 and 3, algebra, trigonometry, physics, geometry, and many other regular and pre-ap courses. Todd is an elite athlete in the SPT program and is making great leaps to becoming a professional track and field athlete.
